	 \n\nKing Yosef\, born Tayves Yosef Pelletier\, first earned attention as 
	a producer.\nPelletier began releasing music as a solo artist under the Ki
	ng Yosef name in\n2017\, combining his early love for heavy music with his
	 experiences in the\nhip-hop realm. A 2019 article in Revolver Magazine st
	ates: "Yosef animates the\nlo-fi\, blown-out brood-scuzz of SoundCloud rap
	 with the vein-popping screams of\nhardcore and the mechanical noise of in
	dustrial.” In the following years\, Yosef\nsharpened his sound over the co
	urse of two EPs\, several singles\, and collabs\nwith the likes of Youth C
	ode\, leading ultimately to the 2023 release of his\ngreatest work to date
	: An Underlying Hum. Recorded and mixed by Converge's Kurt\nBallou and Ste
	ve Evetts (Deadguy\, Sepultura)\, An Underlying Hum is a deep dive\ninto a
	 broken psyche – a concept album born out of Yosef's experiences in\nthera
	py\, digging deep into his childhood traumas. Yosef followed up the releas
	e\nof An Underlying Hum by touring the West Coast with Converge and Deaf C
	lub\, then\nreturned to the studio to work once more with Ballou and Evett
	s on a handful of\nnew tracks. With the "Cut the Cord/Shame’s Mirror" sing
