d-finks]\n\nPUFFER:\n\nAfter a couple of years releasing EPs and touring a
round the world\, PUFFER is\nset to put out their first full length album\
, Street Hassle\, on Static Shock\nRecords and Roachleg Records on June 13
	th\, 2025. Since their beginning\, they\nhave crafted a unique blend of ro
ck n roll and punk\, a hard yet melodic sound\nthat allows them to play wi
th anyone from Fucked Up to Devil Master. Their\nenergetic live shows are
usually a great mix of people from all horizons dancing\nand having a good
time. Puffer has started the year with a couple of Canadian\nshows suppor
ting Prison Affair and is going to tour mainland Europe in support\nof the
ir new LP in June and July with their friends Béton Armé.\n\nhttps://puffp

	om/album/street-hassle]\n\nDEAD FINKS:\n\nDead Finks\, the long-running "p
ost-punk" project based out of Berlin\, are on\ntheir way back with a four
th record\, one that maintains their trademark blend of\nhysterical cynici
sm and strident earnestness. Their unique position on the\nspectrum betwee
n sarcasm and sincerity has\, for a while now\, gained them scraps\nof att
ention within the underground. They carve an odd niche in their home city\
nespecially\; Berlin isn’t known these days for guitar-driven music\, and
at its\nworst\, the city often feels like it can’t decide whether it’s a g
	iant club\, a\ndysfunctional commune\, or a content farm for a venture-cap
ital-backed start-up.\n\n \n\nBut the Finks are nothing if not tenacious\,
and forging ahead for an unlikely\nfourth time has resulted in their stro
ngest and most accessible work to date\;\nNew Plastik Abyss\, an album tee
ming with ideas and bristling with a nervy\,\ncolourful confidence.\n\n \n
\nThe propulsive\, often abrasive sound of their previous records has been
tempered\nsomewhat by shimmering guitars\, hyper-melodic vocal lines and
an increased\nemphasis on clarity and dynamics that absorbs classic pop so
ngwriting\, shoegazy\ntextures and avant garde art-music into their canon.
\n\n \n\nBut it all still hits like a piston\, with a conviction and vital
ity that\nsuggests a band dangerously close to elevating themselves above
cult curiosity\nstatus. Dead Finks have sharpened their edges and their ga
ze in what feels like\na breakthrough.\n\nhttps://deadfinkera.bandcamp.com
